This five star spa was designed on 11,000 sf on two upper floors of the Trump Soho just above the building setback in New York City. The Spa, a modern delight of interesting finishes and Turkish / Moroccan antiquities, features the only authentic Turkish Hammam on the east coast of the US. In addition to the spa, DiGuiseppe designed the 6,000 sf landscaped outdoor space that included cabanas, a mosaic lined pool, lounge seating with a bocce court, and a private after hours bar called Bar D’Eau which is directly outside the Spa and flows out to the pool deck. DiGuiseppe design of a series of large spa suites on the top of floor of this historic hotel was a complete departure from the normal rooms that the firm did on other floors in previous years. The design featured an expanded bathroom with a soaking tub, separate shower and WC room with a large vanity overlooking the bedroom, with a residential feel to the guest experience. The Project consisted of 400 rooms and was an IHG award winning renovation/ conversion from a Holiday Inn Express to a Crowne Plaza. A full service Spa Hotel occupying 42,000 square feet with 26 large Suites including 5 spacious 800 square foot duplexes. The project included a 10,000 sf spa, containing a fitness center, spa café, lounge, lockers, spa store, and salon. The facility has a full service restaurant, prefunction and meeting space featuring a 1940s crystal chandelier salvaged from the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. This modern four star resort, nestled at the entrance to the Catskill Mountains and bordering the Esopus River, incorporated the design elements of the Silk Road. Redesign and renovation of 177 guest rooms and corridors of this historic property, listed on the National Register of Historic Hotels. The redesign of the 103, 600 sf suites were divided into living and sleeping areas which incorporate a double-king bedroom arranagement. This project occupies a secluded beachfront parcel on nine acres, with a 168 room executive conference resort. The design concept includes a full service spa, fitness facility, conference center, meeting rooms, cascading outdoor pools, beach cabanas, two restaurants, and an organic garden for cultivating local vegetables and herbs for the restaurant. This hotel would also serve as a membership only facility to 200 private homes and villas which are being developed around the beach front hotel. The Fallsview Hotel, the inspiration for the movie Dirty Dancing was renovated by DiGuiseppe. Included new guestroom design package for 250 rooms, new FF&E, corridors and public spaces, as well as the redesign of the main lobby.
