EMERSON RESORT AND SPA
Project Description
A full service Spa Hotel occupying 42,000 square feet with 26 large Suites including 5 large 800 square foot duplexes. The project included a 10,000 sf spa, which includes a fitness center, spa café, lounge, lockers, spa store, and salon. The facility has a full service restaurant, prefunction and meeting space, which features a 1940’s crystal chandelier salvaged from the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. This modern four star resort, nestled in the entrance to the Catskill Mountains, and bordering on the Esopus River, was designed to incorporate the owners’ love of the influences of the Silk Road. DiGuiseppe was responsible for all interior architecture, interior design, and provided procurement services as well. The Spa Hotel opened in the Spring of 2007. |
