TROUTBECK RESORT AND CONFERENCE CENTER
Project Description
The Troutbeck Resort incorporates a 1900 English Tudor Manor House design, on the same site of a 1776 Dutch stone and brick house in picturesque Dutchess County. This historical site was the location for the founding of the NAACP, as well as numerous literary guests. The design called for the renovation of the existing main building, the addition of a new Spa, salon, fitness center, indoor pool, and four new buildings housing 24 two bedroom lockouts, which would be guestroom/fractional units. They were all designed in the English Tudor Manor House style with private balconies and ground floor gardens. The buildings are situated along the banks of a trout-filled river. DiGuiseppe prepared all concept design and received overwhelming acclaim and approval from the local zoning and planning board. |
